Lucy is an employed barrister for Graeme Newell at Federal Chambers.
Admitted to the Bar in 2021, she has a strong interest in criminal law. Prior to joining Federal Chambers Lucy worked as a Prosecutor with the New Zealand Police.
Lucy has appeared in a wide range of criminal proceedings across the District Court and High Court, including sentencings, judge alone trials, and jury trials. Her understanding of both prosecution and defence perspectives gives her an advantage in criminal litigation.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Lucy is well-equipped to assist Mandarin-speaking clients.
