Graeme was admitted to the bar in 2014 and joined the independent bar in 2019 after being employed at the Public Defence Service. Graeme has extensive experience defending a range of offences including homicides and assaults, sexual violence, drugs, fraud, and traffic offences.

Whether the case needs to proceed to trial or requires a negotiated resolution, Graeme is committed to protecting your rights throughout the Court process and with measured judgment is focussed on achieving the best possible result for you. 

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Graeme was a supervisor and detective in the New Zealand Police, Criminal Investigation Branch. He has adept knowledge of police investigative procedures and trade craft, particularly serious crime investigations from their commencement through to trial.
